2024 Unveiled: The Year of Restoration

Odette

A lot of us are grappling with the mystery of how 2023 unfolded. It's perfectly normal because, honestly, even I found it confusing. In the past year, many of us underwent a pruning process without realizing it. For some, circumstances just didn't align as expected. Enduring constant challenges & warfare, facing monthly disruptions that derail our focus and enthusiasm, making it challenging to finish the year on a strong note. Several of us parted ways with valuable aspects of our lives, while for others, shedding certain things was a necessary step as they couldn't transition into the next phase. The year brought numerous revelations, moments of self-reflection, and opportunities for personal growth, with certain circumstances acting as catalysts for profound changes within us.

With that in mind, embrace the arrival of the Restoration era—a time dedicated to restoring, refreshing, releasing, and actively pursuing, overtaking, and recovering all that is rightfully yours. I encourage you to read the following Bible chapters:

  1. Joel 2:23 -28

  2. 1 Samuel:30

  3. Leviticus 25:1-14

I've personally accepted that the Lord had to empty and purify my cup to replenish it with an abundance of Milk and Honey. I believe He has done the same for you. Reflecting on the book of Joel, which mentions the locust devouring and taking everything, God ultimately restored everything. This mirrors what awaits us in the coming year—we are destined to feast in abundance. And, it’s only fair that we are restored!

Get ready for a divine restoration sweeping through every aspect of our lives, from friendships to finances, "kingdom" relationships, and marriages. God is bringing back hope, faith, and love, while also renewing mental, physical, and emotional health for each one of us. As God works wonders in our lives, remember to seek and pray for ongoing wisdom and discernment. This way, you can effectively uphold and preserve what God graciously gives and restores. Please don’t be weary in well doing.

God is orchestrating the alignment of things that should be in place, bringing order to what needs restoration. Here's a piece of advice for you: maintain a sense of silence in this New Year and season, or you may unintentionally disrupt the process. In doing so, you'll be sure to reap the harvest that awaits you. Seek God for the restoration of your strength. In 2023, God cultivated endurance, faith, and character in you. Rid yourself of pride and ego in all its forms, fearlessly letting them go. Make it a habit to pray daily and consider incorporating fasting, perhaps once a month. Sow your seeds and faithfully pay your tithes, doing so with expectation and an open heart. Find guidance in Malachi 3:9-10.

Prepare for spiritual warfare by bringing out your Bibles and oils, and fortify yourself. With that in mind, welcome to 2024; let us actively pursue, overtake, and recover all that is rightfully ours.
